- Problem of Practice
There is inconsistency in instructional delivery and execution of dual enrollment courses, resulting in an inconsistent experience for students, especially those who otherwise may not attend college. Students who don’t understand the college experience come away confused and frustrated with their college course and frequently receive a poor grade. Instructors who don’t understand the dual enrollment program and the population it serves can struggle with adapting to the environment.

- Problem of Practice
PCC’s math division wide does not have a community culture that encourages pedagogical adaptations to cultivate faculty resilience. With AB 1705 implementation, there is a lack of communication and intentional time for reflection and collaboration to support math faculty impacted by this bill.
